Sarah

Spring has brought with it some fun collaborations and more projects than time allows these days.   I have not had much time to blog lately, but things are moving along quickly and I just wanted to post a few photos from back in February because this project is almost complete!

My sister Rebekah is a hair stylist at London Influence in Portland.  She had the idea to create a photo book for her bridal clients to browse for checking out bridal hair styles.  Rebekah chose her ten models to work with and she asked me to be her photographer, and of course I said yes!  We started this project in February and finished up the style/makeup/photo sessions in late April and are wrapping up the final pieces for Rebekahs book this week.

The makeup is done by Erika Peterson.  Definitely check out her spa,  De Daysha Spa Atelier.  She is amazing!

I would like to share just a few headshot photographs from each model over the next few days.  I’ll start with Sarah.

Sarah, thank you for working with us.   You are a natural in front of the camera!

Introducing my very first KISS wedding book

I want to share with you a few photos of my first KISS wedding book!  I just received it last week and I am very impressed.

The flushmount album is bound by hand with the highest quality materials including: full grain leather and Fuji Crystal Archival paper.  KISS offers seven beautiful colors to choose from.  I decided on Virgin White for my first album (the Forbidden Green and the Redlight Red are next on my list).  The album came with a lovely black and white flowered storage cloth bag to protect the album, which is a nice touch.

Here is a sneak peak.  I would really like to know what you think.

Albums are available in three different sizes: 8×8, 10×10, and 12×12.  This album is a 10×10 and it seems just right although I am excited to order a 12×12 as well to share with my clients.   The 10×10 album is included in two of my wedding packages (packages II & III).  It is a gorgeous and elegant lay flat wedding book that any couple would be happy to own.

The sturdy pages are 2mm thick.

One thing that impressed me during every step of the design submission and ordering process is that they provided excellent feedback and prompt customer service.   I now have peace of mind that I made the right decision in choosing to work with KISS wedding books.  I am delighted to have found a vendor for my wedding albums.   I know my clients will love them too!

Though it took some time to design my first album, I had alot of fun and I am happy with the final product.  Thank you KISS!
